Fall semester is steady and definately plenty to do, but so far not quite the stress level as summer thus far. But the exams have yet to commence so I am sure that will change.

House is coming along nicely. Dad managed to get a small extension on our permit, so some of the extreme pressure is off. With any luck, we should be able to move into the refinished study and DR in the next couple of weeks. And then cleaning! Oh my goodness. The amt of dust and outright chunky dirt that needs to go! The back deck is over 1/2 done and the piles of dirt outside are leveled, thanks to a neighbor exchange.

Ally's birthday is this Saturday. And I have no plans whatsoever. Anyone have any ideas? A party at home is out of the question due to construction chaos. I am one who would rather avoid birthday parties, so this is a bit of torture for me. Any ideas that are easy to implement/manage for 9yr old girls would be greatly appreciated.
